Timeline Projects
A timeline is defined as, "a graphic representation of the passage of time on a line." Timelines are in chronological order, i.e. earliest times to the most recent time.
Directions: Using Microsoft Word or Publisher, create a timeline. You should use some of the following tools: images, text boxes, word art, shapes.
On your timeline, include the date, 1 fact about project of choice, and one picture.
Timeline Project Ideas:
- History of Toys or Games: Reasearch the date the toy or game was invented.
Ex. Marbles, 1884, 1st marbles were made of clay.
- History of Candy: Research some of your favorite candy. You may be surprised to learn how old some of the candy you lke really is. Some of the candy sold today was first produced over 100 years ago!
Ex. Fry's Chocolate Cream Bar, 1866, chocolate covered fondont.

- History of Movies
- Books
- Music Genre
- Historical Events
